Work is under­way to sup­port the recov­ery of Kan­ga­roo Island wildlife fol­low­ing the sum­mer bush­fires, rang­ing from on-ground rapid assess­ment sur­veys to the man­age­ment of fer­al cats and pigs on the island.

Access to the Sacred Canyon site with­in the Ikara-Flinders Ranges Nation­al Park will change as part of a num­ber of new mea­sures aimed at fos­ter­ing stronger ties between the local Adnya­math­anha peo­ple and park visitors.

Fer­al ani­mal man­age­ment on Kan­ga­roo Island is under­way to man­age fer­al cats and pigs to sup­port the recov­ery of native wildlife.

Vis­i­tors will be enchant­ed by the noc­tur­nal won­ders of Ade­laide Botan­ic Gar­den with the launch of Botan­i­ca Lumi­na, a new pro­gram of curat­ed after-dark events that will see the gar­den come alive through the cool­er months.
