South Australia’s icon­ic nature-based tourism sec­tor will get a much-need­ed boost – with works start­ing on the $10 mil­lion Remark­able South­ern Flinders Ranges project which will help fast-track the state’s eco­nom­ic recov­ery after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Park vis­i­tors are asked to stay away from a dead whale washed up on Sev­en Mile Beach in Cof­fin Bay Nation­al Park. 

The Ade­laide Botan­ic Gar­den will light up for one night only at the end of the month for ​‘Bien­ni­al After Dark’, the first event on the garden’s cal­en­dar since COVID-19 restric­tions have eased.

Fund­ing has been secured to ensure a nature-focussed adven­ture play­ground will be devel­oped as an icon­ic des­ti­na­tion with­in the new Glen­thorne Nation­al Park-Itya­mai­it­pin­na Yarta in Adelaide’s south­ern suburbs.
