In a first for South Australia, National Parks and Wildlife Service SA (NPWSSA) and Parks Australia have teamed up to develop a new education resource that brings marine parks into the state’s classrooms.

In September 2020, the Department for Environment and Water (DEW) became aware of significant dieback of the mangroves adjacent to the St Kilda boardwalk within the Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary National Park – Winaityinaityi Pangkara (AIBS).
