A new­ly-acquired marine parks patrol ves­sel has deliv­ered imme­di­ate results with rangers from Nation­al Parks and Wildlife Ser­vice SA (NPWS­SA) suc­cess­ful­ly detect­ing ille­gal fish­ing activ­i­ty in South Aus­tralian sanc­tu­ary zones.

There’s no bet­ter time to vis­it the spec­tac­u­lar Ade­laide Hills than in March, as the heat of sum­mer gives way to mild, sun­ny days. $1.6 mil­lion infra­struc­ture upgrades under­way on Kan­ga­roo Island

The $1.6 mil­lion trans­for­ma­tion of Antecham­ber Bay camp­ing facil­i­ties, in Lash­mar Con­ser­va­tion Park on Kan­ga­roo Island is under­way with the instal­la­tion of a sus­pen­sion bridge link­ing the north and south sides of the campground. 


Belair Golf Course con­sul­ta­tion underway

The draft mas­ter plan for the for­mer Belair Golf Course and Coun­try Club precinct – includ­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties to increase nature-based tourism expe­ri­ences in the nation­al park – is now open for com­mu­ni­ty consultation.
