Feed­ing wild dol­phins has dead­ly results

Fol­low­ing the suc­cess­ful res­cue of Port Riv­er dol­phin Doc’ to remove hooks and fish­ing line entan­gle­ments last week, Nation­al Parks and Wildlife Ser­vice (NPWS) are remind­ing peo­ple not to feed wild dol­phins as it can have dead­ly effects.

Nilpe­na is offi­cial­ly a new nation­al park

South Aus­tralia has a new nation­al park with Nilpe­na Edi­acara Nation­al Park offi­cial­ly pro­claimed – it will replace the exist­ing Edi­acara Con­ser­va­tion Park and add near­ly 60,000 hectares of extra pro­tect­ed land.
