Plans for a new mul­ti-day walk­ing expe­ri­ence through the spec­tac­u­lar South­ern Flinders Ranges are pro­gress­ing with the announce­ment of a local com­pa­ny as the suc­cess­ful tender.

A num­ber of maps are avail­able to help plan a Wild South Coast Way journey.

Con­struc­tion of the new camp­grounds along the Wild South Coast Way is now com­plete and sites are avail­able to book online.

Work is cur­rent­ly under­way to share cul­tur­al sto­ries of the area, infor­ma­tion about things to see and help­ful hints for those walk­ing along the Wild South Coast Way on the Hey­sen Trail.

Work has been under­way this week to help con­serve and pro­tect the nest of an endan­gered pair of east­ern osprey at Tum­by Island Con­ser­va­tion Park on the Eyre Peninsula.
