Nilpe­na Edi­acara Nation­al Park — the inter­na­tion­al­ly-sig­nif­i­cant fos­sil site dat­ing back to the dawn of ani­mal life on Earth – will offi­cial­ly open today.

The quest to pro­tect the endan­gered chu­ditch has reached a new mile­stone, with 10 indi­vid­u­als suc­cess­ful­ly translo­cat­ed from South­ern and West­ern Aus­tralia to Taron­ga West­ern Plains Zoo in Dub­bo to expand a crit­i­cal con­ser­va­tion breed­ing program.

A new vis­i­tor expe­ri­ence starts today at the Ade­laide Gaol with the open­ing of the Escape Cells immer­sive adventure.
