The Flinders Chase Nation­al Park Vis­i­tor Cen­tre stands as a bea­con of sus­tain­able archi­tec­ture. Designed with rammed earth walls and bush­fire-resis­tant Aus­tralian tim­bers, the cen­tre har­mo­nious­ly blends with the nat­ur­al sur­round­ings while pri­ori­tis­ing envi­ron­men­tal respon­si­bil­i­ty. Tourism is vital to Kan­ga­roo Island’s econ­o­my, con­tribut­ing approx­i­mate­ly $280 mil­lion annu­al­ly.
