Sand flags & recovery tracks recommended. Occasionally high tides inundate sections of the track with seawater, we recommend avoiding peak tide times and checking water depths before crossing.

Track Upgrade - Deep Creek National Park and Wild South Coast Way on the Heysen Trail
Public safetyThe Boat Harbour 4WD track will be undergoing upgrade and verge trimming works from the 30 December 2024 to 24 January 2025. The Boat Harbor Track will remain open for 4WD vehicles access during road works. Public access to the Boat Harbor Beach and its walking trails will be maintained while works occur. Please be aware that traffic delays are expected during the upgrade while staff are engaging in road works.
