Per­fect for fam­i­lies, prams, peo­ple with some mobil­i­ty issues or those short on time, these easy walks are rel­a­tive­ly flat and offer some of the most spec­tac­u­lar views along the WSCW.

Kon­doli — Keep­er of Fire Walk

Loca­tion: Deep Creek Nation­al Park
Start/​finish: Tapanap­pa Ridge Lookout

Dis­cov­er how Ramind­jeri peo­ple came about the tools to cre­ate fire and take in panoram­ic coastal views from Tapanap­pa Look­out. This Grade 1 trail is suit­able for vis­i­tors of all ages includ­ing fam­i­lies with young chil­dren, peo­ple with mobil­i­ty issues and the elder­ly. The trail includes sev­er­al spots to sit and take in the views, as well as under­cov­er pic­nic areas.

Goon­dooloo Ridge Walk

Loca­tion: Deep Creek Nation­al Park
Start: Goon­dooloo Pic­nic Area, Blow­hole Beach Road

This trail along Goon­dooloo Ridge offers spec­tac­u­lar views of Back­stairs Pas­sage and the Pages Islands. Vis­i­tors will walk through re-veg­­e­­tat­ed and rem­nant native bush­land to a look­out with spec­tac­u­lar views. Along the way large mobs of kan­ga­roos can be seen graz­ing in the open fields or rest­ing under euca­lypts. This Grade 2 trail is suit­able for vis­i­tors of all ages includ­ing fam­i­lies with young chil­dren and the elder­ly.

Cape Jervis — Fish­ery Beach

Loca­tion: Deep Creek Nation­al Park
Start: Cape Jervis (behind the fer­ry ter­mi­nal) or Fish­ery Beach

Fol­low the coast along rocky beach­es with stun­ning coastal views towards Kan­ga­roo Island and mean­der through low veg­e­ta­tion rich with but­ter­flies on this easy walk. As the name sug­gests, Fish­ery Beach is a pop­u­lar fish­ing area.
